This is where house points can be earned or lost. There's a thread for professors to use to add or subtract points, and there will also be other ways to earn them. The current numbers for house points can be viewed in the sidebar.
So you got an acceptance letter to Hogwarts, did you? Well, before you can attend the school, you'll need to conjure a profile for your character. So use the profile outline provided inside and create your character, then wait for acceptance before you start playing. Do not ask the administrators to check your application. This is the place for all your character developing needs. Come here for graphics, to plot, or to build relationships with other characters. The claims board is here as well, which includes the face claim.
Hogwarts Castle has, lush, extensive grounds Which include a mountain lake, a large and dense forest, a number of greenhouses, a graveyard, and a full-size Quidditch pitch along with acres of emerald green lawns.
Cold, dark, dusty and located directly beneath the castle, the dungeons are lurking. down in the dark reaches of the castle you can find both the Hufflepuff and the Slytherin common rooms, kitchen, and long and confusing corridors that are always fun to explore.
Through the great entrance doors of the school, the entrance hall is a large space that leads off to the staircases, a broom closet, the dungeons, the staff room, and the Great Hall. The Great Hall is where the students gather for events and to eat.
Here you can find all the available classes at Hogwarts. Whether the class is a major bore where students mostly daydream or a steady stream of excitement, there is always and interesting experience to be had.
It's nice to take a break from schoolwork and relax in a common room or dormitory with students from your own house. Common rooms are great for hanging out or doing homework with friends.
Containing tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves. Included in its many sections is an Invisibility section, a section with information about dragons and the Restricted section set off with a rope. The Restricted Section has books with information deemed dangerous for common knowledge. Students must gain permission from a professor to browse this section. Food and/or drinks are not permitted in the Library.
It's not uncommon for classes or hallway brawls to lead to a student being kept in the hospital wing. This clean white room is dreaded by all, it contains several beds and the Nurse's Office.
This little room isn't exactly common knowledge, but those that know about it find it to be extremely useful. The door appears only to those in need of something; it can be opened by walking by it three times while concentrating hard on what is needed.
To give students a place to just relax and hang out, the staff of Hogwarts converted an old tower into a rec room. It has a fireplace, several cozy armchairs and couches, and a table of snacks that is always stocked. It's a hot-spot hang out for students and teachers.
The only all-Wizarding village in Britain. It was founded by Hengist of Woodcroft. Hogsmeade is located at the northwest of Hogwarts Castle. Students may sometimes come on Hogsmeade weekend trips, but only third year students and above with guardian permission are allowed to visit.
Inside the Alley is an assortment of restaurants, shops, and other sights; some even have tables out front with colored umbrellas. Particularly during the days or weeks before school starts at Hogwarts, the location is packed with witches and wizards, though shops are open year-round as witches and wizards travel to the location for various goods.
A shopping area off Diagon Alley in London. It is filled with shops devoted to the Dark Arts, including Borgin and Burkes, which specialises in objects that have curious and strong magical properties.
One may enter the Ministry via the Visitors' Entrance which is located in a payphone outside on the sidewalk. The entrance code on the payphone is number 62442 ("MAGIC"). Following the prompts of the Operator, passes are issued and the telephone box will descend through the ground into the lobby.
St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries is is concealed behind an abandoned red-brick London department store called Purge and Dowse, Ltd. on a Muggle street. The Hospital is the only wizard hospital in England and is rather busy all the time.
Azkaban is a wizarding prison located on an island in the North Sea. It is widely regarded as a horrible place to be, given that its guards, Dementors, cause great suffering to those in their proximity. Most prisoners eventually go insane.
12 Grimmauld Place is the ancestral home of the House of Black. It is located in London, in a Muggle neighbourhood, and the location is protected by a Fidelius Charm. As the house is invisible to the neighbourhood residents, the local Muggles have long since accepted the mistake in numbering which landed number 13 Grimmauld Place next to number 11. It is the headquarters of The Order of the Phoenix.
It stands on a hill overlooking the village of Little Hangleton, some of its windows boarded, tiles missing from its roof, and ivy spreading unchecked over its face. Once a fine-looking manor, and easily the largest and grandest building for miles around, the Riddle House is now damp, derelict, and assumed to be unoccupied. It is the headquarters of the Death Eaters.
